IBSA is appreciative of the initiatives of Government of India to promote EVs and its plans to build an efficient battery swapping environment. We have been part of meetings and stakeholder consultations with various concerned ministries and departments regarding uptake of the battery swapping ecosystem in India.
Events
IBSA, representing battery swapping in India’s EV sector, showcased the technology at “India Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) experience-cum-exhibition” during 14th Clean Energy Ministerial/4th Energy Transitions Meeting under India’s G20 Presidency in July 2023. Demonstration to G20 delegates and Goa’s Chief Minister, Shri Pramod Sawant, highlighted shift towards adopting Battery-as-a-Service models.
